What's New!

Our next set of lessons starts in May. We are pleased to announce that, for the first time, we are including a course that concentrates solely on Declarer Play. This, along with all our courses, has been specially designed for the club by our teaching expert, Andrew McIntosh. For those new to the game, we are running Daytime and Evening Beginners' courses as well as our ever-popular Learn in a Weekend Course. Those of you wishing to refresh or improve your game can choose from the Next Step, Intermediate or Advanced Courses.

All the courses are designed and will be taught by British International and World Life Master, Andrew McIntosh (resident bridge expert on Celebrity Grand Slam Bridge). For details of all our course, please click here.

Our next bridge weekend will take place on the weekend of March 26th - 28th 2010 at the 4 star Haven Hotel on the Sandbanks Peninsula. Supervised and Duplicate are available at all bridge sessions and there will be morning seminars from Tosh. Players of all levels are welcome with or without a partner. Congratulations to Tosh and his partner Nick Sandqvist, who have been selected to represent England in the European Championships in Ostend this summer.

On January 9th, we awarded trophies to the winners of our Winter Ladders and Overall Championship. The champagne flowed and Noorul and his team provided us with delicious food. Thanks to everyone who turned up to cheer on the Champs!

From 1st January 2010, our evening duplicate sessions will all start at the same time - 7.45pm. Though there are bound to be teething problems in the short term, we hope that this will be less confusing for everyone in the long run! Please note that food will now be served from 7.15pm on Monday evenings.
